GIGO & the POWER of suggestion.

I dont know if I've talked about the GIGO Principle here - Garbage In, Garbage Out - it's about how the things we watch, read, and listen to effect us.

Most would argue that these things have no effect whatsoever; but those people are arguing from an emotional standpoint; Not from an informed, Logical one.

Many of the battles that have gone on in the past 20 years in this country, on moral issues, such as too much Sex on TV - too much Violence; are real debates that we've been propaganda'd into Not paying much attention to.

We shrugg our shoulders, wave our hands, and say ahh, that's bull - what a person see's does not make them think a certain way, react or respond a certain way; It's ultimately up to that individual.

While that may be true, the individuals choices can indeed be influenced by others; By other 'stimuli' - and that's precisely what Too much Sex on TV, or Too much Violence does. It influences individuals' choices.

It changes the way an individual percieves a choice.

Here's a great example of what I'm talking about (from the same guy on YouTube who had the Ted Koppel clip.)
